For years, a standard part of the UNI experience is supposed to leave most of the nights and get drunk. That could be the case for some, but the reality for many students is very different.
Studies suggest that, in recent years, young people have generally become more sober and are drinking less. It is not surprising when you consider the physical and mental health benefits of eliminating alcohol. No more hangover, for example.
In addition, drinking less alcohol saves money. If I take prosecco as an example, the cheapest 75cl bottle we saw in Tesco while writing this guide cost £ 5.45. But the 75cl of Nozeco (one of the best alcohol without alcohol) costs £ 3 with a club card, around 45% less than the alcoholic version.
We have tried and tested many non -alcoholic beverages to find the best. Whether you are doing dry January or you want to drink less (or not) alcohol throughout the year, it is worth trying these drinks.
7 best alcohol drinks
Here are the best non -alcoholic beverages:
-
Non -alcoholic prosecco
Non -alcoholic sparkling wine tends to be cheap to buy and really tasty.
As with a bottle of champagne, you must explode the cork to open the bottles, making them ideal for celebrations.
One of the best and most cheaper foam -free wine brands is alcohol is Nozeco. You can find your effervescence bottles in most of the main supermarkets, which generally costs about £ 3 for a 75cl bottle.
Another to try is the Freixenet 0.0%. This costs about £ 5 for a 75cl bottle.
And one that is pleasant but a little more expensive is Fissile (£ 6 for a 75cl bottle at the time of writing).
If you have difficulty finding a non -alcoholic priest that you like at the beginning, it is worth trying some different options until you find a bottle that suits your tastes.
I have tried some without alcohol alternatives to Prosecco and particularly I recommend Nozeco:
I am a great admirer of Nozeco, it is my favorite non -alcoholic beverage.
Some non -alcoholic prosecutors can be quite sweet, but Nozeco is a little drier, what I prefer.
In addition, I love to come in a bottle with a cork like a standard prosecco bottle. You always feel like a real pleasure to open the cork!

Non -alcoholic gin
SlearAlcohol -free spirits are among the best we have tried so far, especially when mixed with Tonic. They come in some flavors: Grove 42, Spice 94 and Garden 108. However, they are a little more expensive than other brands, which generally cost around £ 22 for a 70cl bottle.
But there are cheaper alternatives that still know well.
At the time of writing, a 70cl tank bottle 0.0% It costs £ 14 with a Tesco ClubCard.
Gordon is another great option. A 70cl Bottle of his alcohol -free spirit It costs £ 12 with your club card.
You can also buy Four 250 ml cans of the fat -free spirit of Gordon with tonic for around £ 5.50. These know quite similar to G&TS, so they are ideal if you want to drink a refreshing drink with your friends without the risk of getting drunk.

Alcohol without alcohol
A good option for non -alcoholic beer is impossible. You may have seen them in Dragons’ el.
They sell non -alcoholic beers and 0.5% that include a mixture of botanists that give drinks a relaxing effect. Their drinks are quite expensive (around £ 2.50 – £ 3.50 per can). However, you can get £ 5 in your first impossible order through our link.
However, that is far from your only option.
Clear head Sells Desalcoholized IPA (0.5%). They give 5% of sales to Talk Club, a charity focused on helping men with their mental health.
For a beer without alcohol, try Beck’s blue. You can buy 15x 275 ml packages of Tesco bottles that work at £ 2.18/liter at the time of writing. This is quite cheap compared to some of the other non -alcoholic beers.
But a beer drinker? Leffe Rubio 0.0% It knows well and costs about £ 3/liter.
You can often buy non -alcoholic beverages with a club card in Tesco or a nectar card in Sainsbury’s, two of the best loyalty cards. -
Non -alcoholic Guinness
Of all the without alcohol we have tried, Guinness 0.0% is one of (if not he) More difficult to distinguish from the alcoholic version.
He knows delicious and has a lovely and soft texture. Even if it is generally not considered a Guinness fan, it is still worth trying the non -alcoholic version, since it could surprise it.
At the time of writing, it costs £ 5 to buy four cans of 440 ml.

Non -alcohol came
Although it has been quite easy for us to find non -alcoholic sparkling wines that we like, finding a good wine still without alcohol has been another matter.
The problem is that many alcohol wines know too much acidic (a bit like vinegar) or too sweet.
The best we have found so far in terms of value for money has been the de-alcoholized wine of the Tesco brand.
We have tried the Sauvignon Blanc and Malbec that each cost £ 3.25 for a 75cl bottle at the time of writing.
They have less than 0.5% alcohol. And, although they are not really as real, we would say that they are closer to the usual flavor of wine than others.
Unfortunately, if you want to try a completely without alcohol wine, we have struggled to find a good cheap one.
For example, Oddbird’s non-alcohol wine often receives good reviews, but is very expensive (around £ 10- £ 15 for a 75cl bottle at the time of writing). We tried its 0.0% organic white, but we must admit that we did not believe that money was worth it.
Instead, we have found that it is better value to buy something cheap and gaseous as Nozecoinstead of splashing a bottle of fixed wine without alcohol.
-
Non -alcoholic cider
Non -alcoholic cider, like wine, is something we have found as a bit unpredictable. However, there are some good out there.
Our favorite so far has been Kopparberg’s Pear without alcohol cider. It is very sweet and gaseous, but with enough typical cider flavor that arrives so that it feels as if you are drinking the alcoholic version.
Kopparberg has a range of non -alcohol cider Strawberry and Lima and Mixed fruit. At the time of writing, they cost £ 1.50 per 500 ml bottle for each flavor.
Or if you are looking for a more traditional apple cider, try Zero straw.
-
Corses
And finally, the classic non -alcoholic beverages: curses without problems.
In the past, it may have expected the cocktails to be the typical cocktail without the alcoholic element (essentially being juice and ice). However, you can now use non -alcoholic spirits to replicate closely the taste of your favorite cocktails. Hurrah!
For example, if you love lemon falling cocktails, you can do them as you would, only with a non -alcoholic spirit to replace vodka. Not vodka strain It could be worth trying for this.
You can also buy cocktail cans without sites such as Dry drinker. We have seen cans of without alcohol, pineapple casts and more.
Without alcohol drinks in front of low alcohol
You may see some drinks in the No or low alcohol section in stores with a small amount of alcohol in them. In the United Kingdom, there are some categories in which drinks can fall based on their alcohol by volume (ABV):
- Drinks with 0.05% ABV or less It can be classified as alcohol
- Drinks with 0.5% ABV or less It can be classified as disarbox
- Drinks with 1.2% ABV or less It can be classified as low alcohol.
For the context, a banana too mature can have about 0.4% of ABV.
Whether you decide to obtain without alcohol, mischievous or low alcohol, it depends on you. Anyway, hopefully, the suggestions in this guide help him find his new favorite drink.
